What is the Correct Order of Makeup Application
When it comes to achieving a flawless makeup look, the order in which you layer your makeup products is somewhat of a big deal. Just as in a skincare routine, you wouldn’t moisturise your face before cleansing, similarly there’s a correct makeup order to follow as well.
TWhether you’re a beginner figuring out your blush from bronzer or an old hand looking to improve upon your existing routine, read on as we share the correct order of makeup application so you can create looks that you will love.
So, What Really is a Moisturiser?
A moisturiser draws water into your skin after it’s lost during cleansing or environmental exposure. It also helps lock that moisture in to keep it soft and smooth and prevent any further loss of moisture.

1. Start with Skincare
That smooth, seamless makeup hinges on your skincare routine. So, start by cleansing, toning, and moisturising your face.
2. Put On a Primer
Here’s where your makeup routine begins. Apply a dime-sized amount of primer to your face and blend it using your fingers. Priming your skin helps to extend the wear of your makeup. Moreover, it can address concerns such as dullness, oiliness, or enlarged pores.
3. Lay the Foundation

5. Brush on Some Blush, Bronzer & Highlighte

6. Ace Those Eyes
